Good luck stopping mate. Most hit that point at some time which generally makes it the right time to quit.
Personally for me though I’m happy to carry on. I need to have some vices and given the choice between smoking or drinking I’d much rather have a joint on the go than a pint anyday. Quite why one is legal and one isn’t is beyond me.
XDC Erratic-SpaceParticipantNahh they’re just going to be the last members of XDC to finally hold their hands up and convert to the xbox because of how kick-ass it is 🙂
XDC Erratic-SpaceParticipantIt does look seriously good! The bit with her flapping her arms and legs about at the same time had me laughing a fair bit (as did the commentary from the guy recording it!)
Not wanting to hijack a thread but did you guys see a report that 53% of 360 owners have suffered the RROD at some point? Think something like another 43% have had it on their replacement too! PS2 was either in the 30’s or low 40’s. The Wii came in top with just 11% reported failures. They did go on to say though that most people only played their Wii for about an hour or so whilst 360 users racked up between 3-5 hours a day for the average gamer.

i bought this last night…..but the best bit is being able to top your friends (insanes inc) high scores 🙂
Having a go on the demo. Nice 1 minute you managed. Just got a 1.06 so a bit more fine tuning on my side needed.
XDC Erratic-SpaceParticipantThe seats were insane! Nice seeing how the rich folk live. Not to mention being able to drink ya beer whilst watching the match. Fucking a! Only bad part of the trip was being back in MK and finding out too late that the coach station had moved (hence I’ve just got back to Scotland now.)

Also where could you take a cow on a date? You wouldn’t get served in a pub …. It’s a bad idea.
True enough. A few failed nights out with this girl I knew proved this.
XDC Erratic-SpaceParticipantYeah hope he’s alright. We just go about our lives for the most part not really worrying about those out there fighting.
XDC Erratic-SpaceParticipantHmm the converting part hasn’t been as annoying as I thought it would be. Is a wee bit of a pain though. Strangly the size of the thing has never really bothered me. For some reason is never actually seems that bit, and plenty big enough if you want to watch a vid. One of the main reasons I picked one up was so I could stop lugging about an mp3 and a phone. The app side of is so damn addictive. Love being able to record my sky programs via it, and all the net surfing, messaging, and other bits and bobs. With the 3g stuff it really helps for never getting lost. Many people sack their Sat Nav and use this now.
….though I haven’t actually got my replacement yet as it was delivered today and my dumbass housemate didn’t drag his sick ass out of bed to get the door. *grumble* Now I gotta arrange for it to go to the post office tomorrow!
There must an app Insane that lets you use mp3”s and stuff foryour ringtones without doing it via iTunes? Hope I can find one.
XDC Erratic-SpaceParticipantPicked it up. Cya on the battlefield.
XDC Erratic-SpaceParticipantI think you’re right worse luck. Best I could find is Airsharing but that’s still not really what I wanted. It’s the only thing that I dislike about the iPhones (well that and iTunes.) I still think it’s the single best phone out on the market these days. Haven’t had this much fun using a phone since I picked up the first Nokia touchscreen. If anyone’s thinking about a new phone I’d certainly give it the thumbs up.

Felt it was important to get to grips with Vista as I do bits of technical support just for when more places take it up. I find Vista to be like a Mac OS port. Shall have to Google Win 7 and see what all the fuss is about? If I’m happy with Vista then it sounds like maybe there isn’t so much point changing just yet? Cheers for the reply Doc.

XDC Erratic-SpaceParticipantIt’s a fair point about the death of PC gaming. I still much prefer FPS games on PC but caved in the end and brought COD on 360. It is a bit harder with the controller but still really enjoyable once you get the hang of it. I hope to be getting a new laptop sometime around Sept so will be back in the market for playing games on PC then. At the moment though it’s pure ease of access on the 360. And 360s are pretty shit-hot even if mine did just get the red ring of death the other day (lucky for me my housemate has one too!)
Insane – ah yeah sorry dude I meant to say aside from that game. Was good seeing ya on the server.
So those that have it already – What’s it like?
XDC Erratic-SpaceParticipantCool. Will pick it up payday this month I think. Been a while since I’ve been on a game server with another XDCer.

Haha pissed myself laughing at this bit. We’re going to be fubar’d if the XDC lasses start up their own clan!
