ParticipantNext week the mobile ‘pimp palace’ turns up in Doc’s village.
BTW. Isn’t that the castle from Highlander in the background?

ParticipantVery funny! Although I did find it quite disturbing.
Nice one Hippy.

Now that i am suitably embarressed. I thought that there was more to it than that. Cheers Guys.
So someone who was experienced in a game would be a?
Well according to some of the ‘tards on 2142 and BF2 a ‘noob’ is basically anyone. Max or Fluffy could be considered ‘noobs’ if they upset the wrong spotty oik, even if that spotty oik has only played the game for a week. This is because the oik in question is what is known in general terms as a twat.

ParticipantI think that our team failed to win because we don’t pay them enough. I hereby demand that all football players in British teams get a massive payrise.

ParticipantI also found it funny, although was it a joke or something sPUNKer had told you in confindence?

ParticipantHe said: “I don’t think the people who posted them would like to be on receiving end of that kind of treatment.
LOL!
Naaah. Only people who don’t take themselves seriously would be able to laugh at that. So basically anybody BUT a celebrity who named himself after royalty.
Good work BTW Johnny, although my fave is still the Amy Winehouse one.

ParticipantMagicker,
Any chance we could bring the gallery back? Obviously not in the way that would allow Turkish hackers to mess it all up, but just so we can keep some of the group photos and photochops for prosperity.
What say you sir?

ParticipantLook, I have read over 7000 books in my life, and I give this one a 7.5/10
which is a high rating for me.Pharty, leaflets in STD clinics don’t count as books.

ParticipantIt was good to meet up with everyone again, but sadly my mic wouldn’t work unless I yelled 😕
The first couple of games were great (even when the Germans were chastising my command skills). Nice to listen to you all 😉

ParticipantYou’d look nice in the pink one Ryzo. 😉

ParticipantStats and unlocks have their places, but only if properly implemented. I downloaded the origional Halo PC game a month or so back to try out the multiplayer, but it was wank. TK’ing was more common than actually playing the game properly. If you’re going to spoil other players fun to get your kicks then you deserve to have some kind of penalties, and it used to be in the form of taking damage yourself (which I thought worked quite well). Sure it’s not very realistic, but it did the business.
The trouble with stats and unlocks is that people do the sums and workout that TK’ing a team mate who was going to ‘steal’ the jet you wanted makes sense, since you’ll get more kills in the air. BF2 had this problem, and although 2142 was much better from a fairness POV, people still abused the system.
But stats should be used by the server too. If you want to block players who have a TK level of 1% of all kills or higher then the admin should have that option. If you want to block players higher than rank X then you should have that option too. Or people with 50% of their kills with claymores, or who have spent too much time loan wolf, or who have been banned from X many servers.
That’s how stats should be used.

ParticipantWell SOIA, I was going to post a hard-hitting rebuttal to your chocolate-whizz-way-riding slurr about Action Force/GI Joe, however it seems that popular toys are all getting the village people treatment, including action man:
Action Man is becoming a gheyer:
So in light of this Lensman I recommend this gender specific toy:
Boy George. A boy called George. That’s a good, solid, manly name. I therefore recommend this clearly non-ghey toy.
XDCNeonSamurai
ParticipantEither that or ask for Operation, Scalectrix and Hungry, Hungry Hippos. Don’t ask for any Action Force though, the americans bought them and turned them into “GI Joe” and made them all gay. Absolutely shocking state of affairs.
That’s catagorically not true. I’m selling my old Action Force figures on eBay and they would make an ideal christmas present, and come without the slightest whiff of up-hill gardening. I’ve got a Royal Marine, a Royal Marine Commando and an SAS Frogman all coming in under £30 each (plus P&P). Think about it; It’s christmas. You’re bored. There’s nothing on the telly and you’ve just drunk a whole bottle of whisky. Well that’s when a Royal Marine Action Force figure would be a god send! He comes with 4 moveable limbs and a rotating head, and is kitted out with an SLR (L1A1) and a spare box of ammo! It’s like an Action Man, but smaller! And if you colour in his beret with a permanent marker he can also double as a voodoo doll to use against Badger.
All for £29.99 (plus P&P)
It’s the christmas present you’ll never grow out of!
Or you can have the excitement of taking part in ‘Neon’s Lucky Dip’ whereby you send me £30 and I send you some surprise gifts that may or may not be of equitable value. But that’s the surprise.
