To be honest, I think it would be rather cheeky to expect non-members to contribute, or to accept contributions from non-members. Considering the flat denials of entry to people like the Black Watch crowd, it would be a bit dishonourable to then go and accept their money.

Agreed. Apart from Legit who seems to have assume squatters rights on our server at the mo.

Pharty do you have a rough idea of how much 2 servers + the web server is going to cost a month? About £130 / £140 a month? The more people who contribute the more we can bring the cost per person down.

Nice one Phart – thanks for sorting this out. Although violence is not the way of my country people anymore. Instead I would have to subject you to non-stop readings of Gerry Adam’s poetical musings on the ‘Struggle’ – in gaelic – or the collected sermons of Big Ian Paisley on why the Roman Catholic church is an even greater threat to western civilisation than Islam. An even handed punishment to show there’s no bias you see 😉 .
I’ll happily stump up £6 a month for game and website (and increase if needs be if we get a 2nd server) – I’d like to set up a standing order to your goodself, so if you be as so kind to PM the necessary bank details. Ta.

This isn’t a screw up. If you read the 2142 readme file (did anyone?) you will see that there is a line saying that the master servers will always be offline on Tuesday mornings for about 2 hours for maintenance.
For most people that aint a problem 😉
Am I right in thinking you now only recevie these requests if you are the appropriate class (ie other people dont hear requests for ammo if they arent support) ❓
Fenix – we are operating a mixed rotation on the server at the moment – conquest maps alternating with titan.
