ParticipantFeel your pain mouse, I was without broadband for 3 weeks when I moved house, due to Freedom2surf being utterly useless in connecting me. They actually kept telling me I was connected and that there was a problem with my router. Countless of 45-60min calls later they tested the line and realised the exchange wasn’t done properly.
Doubt that we’re the only ones, I reckon at least half the house moves with broadband go wrong somewhereXDC Dutchman
ParticipantObvious question would be do you have sky or want sky, cause Sky+ or sky HD is great, but obvious lack the dvd recorder part
Don’t know too much about the standard freeview type PVR boxes, especially on that has both hdd and dvd recorder, but definitely pay a visit to AVForumsXDC Dutchman
ParticipantLol Judge.
I do like the destroyable huts and buildings, adds a new perspective. Wonder how it’ll be once you are indoors though.
The demo gives a good impression, all that’s missing is a gatling gun so that you can mow down the damn forest and stop the enemy hiding in it !I did have a weird issue to start with, for some reason I had to set texture shading ( I think that’s it ) to high, otherwise most objects were invisible. Was quite funny in the beginning in the plan, I could only see the eye balls of the others in the plane and could also only see the plane’s outlines.

ParticipantUp to ep 5, and gotta agree with most of the comments on annoying actors and daft script writers.
Somehow, I just have this feeling of season 1 Deja Vu, we had a boring 1st episode, some good ones after that, then in the middle episodes it’ll go kinda boring before kicking into 2nd then 3rd then 4th gear with the latter part of the series and things happening and then just as you think they’ll slip it into 5th and make Jeremy Clarkson squeem with delight as they hit 160 mph and the highlight of the series, they’ll produce another stinker with nothing really being resolved.
But hey, one thing to look forward to, at least we won’t have a git posting the ending before most have seen it !XDC Dutchman
ParticipantStill can’t quite decide whether it was one of the funniest movies I’ve seen for a long time, or one of the weirdest.
But this is just so enjoyable for being a not so typical hollywood movie, great ending as Wolf stated.I’m pretty sure it did well at the box office too
9/10Seen it yet Insane ?

Which story was Max? 😉
Max didn’t make the 2006 edition, but he is featured in the 2007 one, and pictures speak louder than words

ParticipantFollowing on from judge’s post, seems the grapes in NZ are even sourer than I could’ve imagined.
If NZ wanted to leave their mark on the tournament they could’ve, but at times in their game vs France I got the feeling that somewhere someone was paying them to loose, because they never played like they wanted to win itI guess no kiwi would’ve been complaining if they won it, irrespective of how
And what’s even funnier is these comments comes from a team who has never won the world cup. Ok, apart from that time when they won it but SA didn’t play, so technically, they’ve never won it when we’ve been in itXDC Dutchman
ParticipantThank goodness for the description to the right in youtube to figure out what he did cause I couldn’t handle watching more than 10 seconds of him.

ParticipantCome on, was it a try, wasn’t it one, with the aid of tele replays and a qualified international referee, it was proven not to be one:

Don’t blame the referees that you lost, he gave the English more than enough leniency, never seen so much blatant handball in ruck situations going unpunished and how Flood didn’t receive a yellow card for dangerous play I don’t know. End of the day you play with the cards you’ve been dealtBut to take the side of the footy supporters, rugby can be a tad boring. 80 mins of play and we only saw a few glimpses of great skill ( like Tait’s break ).
BUT, you’ve gotta admire how good rugby supporters are. No need to seperate them and stick the away fans between fences, and despite also drinking and getting drunk, you do not see the hooliganism you do with football supporters.XDC Dutchman
ParticipantTook the young ball and chain to go see this tonight, I thought it was quite great. It had that right blend of humour, action, romance and Robert De Niro that makes so many blockbusters good. Undeniably this is a warm feel good movie, but then it never pretends to be anything different
9/10As for Max, maybe try this

ParticipantCome on you Bokke !
But England played very well, in fact, their backline put ours to shame tonight. If it wasn’t for the magnificent Bakkies and Vic in the lineouts things might’ve been quite different
But in a final, points on the board is all that matterXDC Dutchman
