Go see it, its good. The ending is particuarly surprising. Its by the Coen brothers.
Its got Kelly MacDonald (Gosford Park, Finding Neverland, Nanny McPhee) in and she butters my toast in a strange way 😈
Watched this film with the missus at the weekend, I thought it was fantastic and she thought it was shit.
Great cinematography, an intense susepenseful plot and one of the best film villians I have seen in a long time.
Go watch it.
the ending is particularly suprising ?? hmmm not so sure…..possibly the worst ending to a movie i have seen….on the plus i too enjoyed it overall….and my missus also thought it was so shit she walked out 20 mins from the end !!! happy valentines present honey 🙂
.. saw this a while ago… liked it loads!! Javier Bardem is one scary bloke! The ending… hhhmmmmm… the worst ending ive seen then again the best ending ive seen!.. hard to explain without givin too much away, but…. make your own mind up! 😛

what is it with films lately – are the all trying to compete on who can created the lamest, wankiest, gay fucking endings????

Yeah. I liked the whole cat and mouse, man on the run thing that was happening. The villain was suitably horrible and unflinching in his tenacity. I liked the uncomfortable scene when the owner of the petrol station tries to engage him in pleasant small-talk.
Personally though I’d have swapped the ending of this film for the ending of ‘I am Legend’, so that suddenly infected mutants turned up and began laying waste to the place, and in Will Smiths’ case he ends up chasing some money to a bizarre conclusion.
Both films would have made more sense.
Just watched this again last night as I couldn’t remember the ending. Have to say if I ever flip out and decide to go on the ramage then I’m using that guys weapon as my dispatch method of choice. It rocks! And yeah, the ending…err umm no comment.
Other than that though I thought the film was great.
