    Golden rule. NEVER stand behind the gun when loading.

    Seen several chaps losing fingers to a snap-closing breach during training too. Human error always the culprit.

    Thing with arty (that looks like and Anti-Tank gun) is that rounds can cook-off if the breach gets to hot, or you have a dodgy firing pin etc etc.

    You never ever stand near the recoil.

    Yeah but how do you load it while not standing near the recoil? Extra long arms?
