Hows about the occasional infantry only bout on karkand or sommat?? is that possible? or does the whole server have to be inf only?
Im sure it would be a question of sticking it in the next version of Mug’s marvelous RSM 😉
I would actually like to see that on something like a 16 player shonghou or would be very interested to see how the fek all the US team get over on Wake 😛Seeing as how I never see what or who kills me, I’m fairly sure I wont be able to tell the difference on an infantry only server…

played on some inf only servers and it can be good fun. Just make sure they are the 16 player maps as its one hell of a long walk 😕

The way to solve that is to turn friendly fire ON. Since we’re playing without vehicles, there’s no point in being an engineer, so there’s no chance of driving over mines, but it would also mean that snipers would have to go back to using claymores the old fashioned way to protect their sniping posts.
Although, having said that I am a classic ‘Claymore Spammer’.

The DR server was inf only for a while, the sprint capacity is increased so you can run across a map quite quickly – also jump (number of) is increased before you drain your stamina so we had a hard time booting all the bunny hoppers, which is fucking annoying, in a fire fight and the enemy start jumping around like fucking spring boks, – Road to Jahalabala is awesome as inf only though, so too karkand, = wake is pretty cool, btw boats are the only vehicles in Inf only. So on wake it’s accutally easier for the USMC to get from the carrier to the land as there are no camping tanks on the beach heads.
I did get bored of inf only, so I went on your server last night – Shiraqui Penisiser was like a blood bath, theres no arty in inf only so when you stand in an arty shower for the first time in a while, and the MEC chopper is watching you and gunning at you – it’s a little pants crappy,

I played infantry only on 64 player Oman and it’s a completely different game. You end up having fights in places you’d never encountered anyone before. That was pretty good. But you really MUST join a squad or you’ll be spending a lot of time running around.
