Damn…im smiling from ear to ear since this afternoon!! I just purchased the bike that I’ve always wanted since getting my motorcycle license four / five years ago. My instructor from the msf course had a Honda ST1100 and knew that was the bike for me.
Few weeks ago I spotted a 2003 Honda ST1300 for sale and knew it was mine! Now it is!!! 🙂
Too dark to take any photo’s…but I’ll definitely have some in the next few days. Here’s a photo from a web site:
You would not beleave the difference from my Shadow to this one! Night and day! Handles SO much better, tons of power, excellent brakes…just a much better bike.

September 16, 2006 at 7:23 am #33924AnonymousParticipantDon’t drop it!
Crashed my fazer @ 100mph about 2 months ago – was fun sliding down the road on my back getting my skin scraped off, but the repairs ain’t cheap. I still got right back on it with the exhaust falling off and fuck all front end and did 130mph though 😛
Also it dropped off the stand on both sides about a month ago (just after paying out for new bits) – it dropped to the left outside a takeaway and dropped to the right outside my m8s which has cracked the fairing and snapped my brake lever 😳
I sort of fancy a tourer myself tbh – too slow for me to do any speding and can carry a fair amount of luggage to cruise which would have come in very handy when I had to go University in July , had sod all luggage space (tank bag + tail pack) and got flashed by several speed cameras 😈 A BMW R1150GS would do me but on the other extreme end I fancy a 2006 Aprilia Tuono 1000 R or a KTM Super Duke 😯
But anyhow, grats on getting your dream bike and don’t forget to ride the bollocks of it 😛

And going by your recent experiences, isn’t it time you gave up on bikes before you kill yourself and maybe use the bus to get to work ? 😉 😛 😀

Normally the front. They don’t work very well if you stick them on the back 🙂
