Im not sure I am convinced with the booster packs… whilst I like the extra features, losing everyone on the server when you switch to the maps is rather shit… Perhaps they should give the maps free, and better weapons for those with the booster, so that they can still play on vanilla servers – just with better upgrades…. now that would be an incentive to buy the packs!

They won’t be getting my monies, unless these ‘booster packs’ boost my gaming experience. What good are extra maps, with cool new vehicles, if nobody bothers to play them eh?
Anyway, thanks to the wonders of ingame advertising, shouldn’t these boosters be free?
was gonna say the same thing neon old chap…………they are soon to getting a nice tidy revenue stream from the in game ads so one would assume that the debacle of the past booster packs should remain firmly in the past!
I’d like to see additional content provided gratis as a reward for having to put up with the CTD’s, bugs etc that seem to have plagued their latest releases, as much as i like the games i’m not forking out for a booster pack that i’ll play maybe twice then confine to a dark corner of my HDD…..having said that, i’ve not seen any mention of the “new content” being in a booster pack so lets hope its a new map/content in a not too distant patch 😀Certainly if they do release extra packs in the future Ill not buy them if they fit in the same as EF and AF did. Never been that much of an armour fan on the whole really so these two packs never got run out that much on my PC. I do feel like a few new Inf maps though.
I agree with the comments about deserted servers.
But what fucks me off about booster packs/expansions is that you get screwed over when subsequent patches come along. For example, when I had to reinstall BF2 I never managed to get Special Forces going again as the patch application was out of order, and I would have had to uninstall, complete clean, and reinstall later, and then bugger about with EA Downloader for Armoured Fury. So now I have a £20 SF expansion pack that is useless and unused.
Sorry, for me it is just too much arsing about. I still haven’t updated EA Downloader after seeing all the horror stories other people have had. It is simply too much shit to worry about – and I’m a friggin’ expert. God help people who just want to use PCs and not understand them…..
yeah I too have decided its a waste of fooking time.. we never play em for long enough.. If there going this route again, they can suck my arse!
and if Madmax buys em.. I’ll make his gaming experience on our server hell by refusing to change the server over.. and if its on the booster when I join, I’ll restart the fooker again and again!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I think I played Armoured Fury 2 times.. 1 was just me and him on the server.. totally piss!
I agree with Turkles Idea.. booster for weapons.. maps = free.. unfortunatly EA will disagree

I’ve bought every add on / booster since 1942.. and I can honestly say the boosters are ghey and useless
just give us free maps and contents and keep the server full and not divided!
