I used to think the same mate, I played assault almost exclusively in BFBC2 and BF2142 but there is something very satisfying about a succession of awesome headshots that I’ve grown to love the sniping in this game. Of course I still play the other clases, especially on XDC server, but when I’m on my own, I prefer sniping. I’ve recorded another vid of a round where I got a lot of nice kills in sharqui which I’ll upload at some point.
Must admit, takes some skill to get those long distance headshots, its just that you lot are so irritating when you sneak about 😉
Loving that fact that at 1:30 or so theres a flight of stairs right up to the roof your trying to get to but you still use your MAV lol…
And yes a new pc may be in the works (shhh, gonna try and convince the Mrs that I “liberated” it from work lol)
was always a medic on BF1942 and spec ops or sniper in the other games,loved the sneaking into the enemy base on BF2 to destroy their assets and pharty raining death down upon me once his guns were up and running.
Watching all the vids of the game is making me a tad jealous and nostalgic – really can’t get into BFBC2 on the xbox and haven’t even bothered getting BF3.

Not interested in the vid but the big building on point A is whete snipers go, pissed me right off as i thought, how the fuck can we kill them, then squad member sprog said Mortars! Fuckin a i thought, took all 6 of em out (yes 6!) And then agaon as they kept spawning! Dicks
Love doing that with ghey snipers who think there the shiz hiding in a non descript part of the map, i pull out ma big mortar gun, BOOOM bitch goes down 😀
worked like a charm eh mikey…..i was took the 6 deaths running out and about droppin health packs at your feet 🙂

the only fps type game i can play on a console are rockstar games…..red dead…..gta…..they have a brilliant aiming system……worth checkin out red dead if your on the xbox m8……but in truth you should be back in pc land with us lot now…..im in for the long haul on BF3 !!

Those stairs goto the 2nd floor not the roof
