I was speaking with him last night and he was asking whether or not he could get back into online gaming with us. I said I didn’t have a problem with it, and I know nobody from the rogue spear days will object either. We were not the ones involved in the argument though, so what I’d like to know is whether anyone has any serious objections to him returning as a member?
I can’t remember everyone who was involved in the original argument, but I’ve privately spoken to those who I can remember, and they’re happy enough with this. He’s promised to be nice, if that makes any difference 😉
For anyone who has no idea what I’m talking about, 7 is about as close to a founding member of xdc as you can get, but there was an argument when we switched over to bf1942 basically over political correctness and on how xdc had changed. Incidently xdc had changed, we’d expanded rapidly over 6 months that he’d been offline, and when he returned it wasn’t the same for him. He declared he was leaving, but I never revoked his posting rights, and we made an argument clinic just for him 🙂
This thread will self destruct after the weekend.
I am a little… embarrassed over what happend… I should never have preached my half cooked ideals the way I did… (although my views are still largely the same…)… I was easily prevoked, and reacted badly.
As long as the argument clinic is used for discussions on politics, religeon etc, then I’m cool… Just dont let MPG Hitman join!

had neil pop up in my facebook pals the other week I told him what games we were up to and told him to get his arse over. I’m glad he considdered. Neil is a good bloke and you have to take his provocations with a pinch of the ole salt. 😆 I actually think the subject came up when I was staying with you last year, but you pretty much hit the nail on the head there. He can seem to have a problem with anyone, but that is his point a lot of the time.
p.s. you can pm objections to me, if you don’t want them made public……surely somebody hates him????
