Well I’m a foot soldier on the whole although you’ll often find me tearing round in a tank if my PC doesn’t have a heart attack loading the map and put me on about 5 minutes after everyone else. I like the tight confines of maps like 32 player Karkand or 64 player Shaqui over Wetlands (and my all time hate: Kubra Damn!)
Have you lot tried the new map yet? Can’t be bothered to ass about with the beta patch but was wondering if anyone else has yet?
Mostly Special Forces, as that gives me most flexibility – decent gun in a firefight, but explosives to give me half a chance against armour. But I do often swap around all the other roles except for sniper. I just can’t be arsed to sit around waiting as a sniper, and I bloody hate the bastards anyway.
Anti tank (much to peoples irritation) Assault (the g3’s my fave assault gun)
Tanks and apc’s especially if comp laggy as it makes me look good 🙂
When i get a chance to play i’m usually AT, learnt how to fly helis now so im givin that a go at the min….. NEVER, NEVER, EVER fly planes.. tried with a joystick……crash, tried with KB and mouse… crash.. 😥
So decided to hate flyboys!!!! (Am only jealous!)

Amen, Brother! Should have seen my feeble attempt at being Sniper tonight lol. I hate it, but I need the badges 😛
I’m afraid I wasn’t much help to my squad, not like when I’m playing as my usual favourite…. Support! Woohoo! Running around, chucking ammo packs (that give a unexpected points about an hour after I’ve dropped them lol), and taking people down with my trusty PKM!
Still, gotta get me some sniper related badges… guess I’ll have to be sniper again tomorrow 🙁
Haha then I’ve gotta bloody learn how to fly so I can get some air related badges. That should be amusing, but not for the guys I accidentally TK in the process to trying to control the bloody choppers lol

What ever is needed at the time , I enjoy infantry , it is great fun for me when in a good squad working as a team 😀
Depends on the map, if I’m commander and if I’m squadded up or not.
I think I spend about equal ammounts of time as support, spec ops and AT, although I like playing sniper if I’m on a different server to XDC. I love playing in armour, but only if no-one else wants to. On a map like Karki, armour can be the deciding factor as to if your team wins or not.
Sniper’s a good kit to get badges in though Manslaughter, especially if you unlock the M95 and play on a suitable map (Maashtur’s a good ‘un).
Spec Ops, with a SCAR, is my most played kit, as Lens says it gives you enough flexability to take anything on and have a chance.
but my favourite kit is the support with MG36, ok ok I’m tied between the MG36 and the tescos value AK47, up close this little bitch could down a leigon of his best troops on the far side of endor.
in SF the sniper is a very useful kit to play and the more open terrain means you don’t have to wait around too much use the zip line to traverse the entire map in the scratch of a goolie.
BTW – the new map is acctually pretty good, infantry heaven if you like that sort of thing. Jahalabad suck my nades, it’s payback!
