google are testing an app development tool, essentially it allows anyone with little or no programming experience to develop apps for the android platform.
It may be worth doing a search and registering yourself.

had froyo (2.2) for a month or so now on my nexus 1. flash 10.1, animated gifs, voice dialing, exchange compatability and some gui improvements to name a few
The next big update is gingerbread at the end of the year.
I’m not keen on the sense ui and if you’re prepared to root your phone you can install any number of custom roms.

I’ve just installed a prog called chrome to phone which allows websites, youtube vids etc to be sent directly to my phone from my chrome browser on the laptop/pc.

😯well lets hope they ditch modern and go back to WW2, people complained with some justification (i guess) at the time that so many FPS games that were being released were set in WW2. We’re now in the situation that practically every FPS out there is set in modern warfare.
I may not even bother upgrading my pc if BF3 isn’t WW2, i’ll move over to the dark side and buy myself an Xbox. 😯

my camera is the canon EOS 500D, with a standard 18-55mm lens. I also have a sigma DG 70-300mm lens but without IS which makes using a tripod pretty much essential.
My P&S is a samsung NV10 but i’ve not used it for so long i can’t even remember where i’ve put it!
I have 2 memory cards for the canon, a 1Gb and a 16Gb, i think (hope) i’ve left the 16Gb in Italy as i can’t find it anywhere but have that awful pit of the stomach feeling i may have left it in the rental car when i returned it 🙁
I’m still trying to get to grips with using the camera as i try to keep away from the idiot settings and instead try to utilise the AV/TV controls as much as possible.
i think you can use them together in a network setup. One stores the files on the hdd and the others stream the data from the main one.
Found this whilst looking around the net:
seems a pretty good setup, not too difficult to configure and plays all manner of files.
any thoughts ?
