Had a one shot kill on a walker via the ‘Skywalker Vent’ which was fun
I like the snipers and have been playing that class for a change
It is an arcady game but with tactics so i can honestly say if nom or dazzer gave it a go … you’d still hate it ๐
Its probably my least favourite of the bf series so far and i really do find it a bit medal/stat heavy. Have started to mute certain people in ts (will leave you all to guess who ๐ )
Oh and also play on other servers alot more as the titan is the new capital of lag so makes that mode a bit pointless for me ๐ฅ
Overall its a bit of a laugh but does seem to represent a subtle shift away from the previous reincarnations. Still surprises me that the guns in the year 2142 are less accurate than my airpistols i have at home ๐ฟ
Still love the squad structure though – had some great rounds on our server and elsewhere on conquest mode

now then.. TBH fluff.. playing RO for a week *esspecially in a FREE week and saying its crap is truley something graham norton would do.. you cannot have an opinion on this game in just a week.. it takes time and patience..

And seriously m8 how can you say giving a whole week to testing a game isn’t enough!!! lol I’m fairly sure I can make my mind up about something well within a week. I actually played the game trying to like it but nothing felt right for me.
I guess going off an RO rating I’ll stick with arcade fun over realistic boredom anyday ๐

Must admit i had wanted an air rifle but would need to find a rifle range as my garden is tiny + the noise would upset the neighbours anyway.
The Co2 pistol is quite a bit louder than i expected ๐

The review centre plus forums is a good place to visit for alot of things
Must admit target shooting always sounds fun but with the need of a FAC for any rifle over 12 ft/Ibs or pistols over 6 ft/Ibs I decided to buy an air pistol instead (well a Co2 pistol)
These aren’t too powerful so you can shoot them (carefuly) inside your house or outside. About 10 metres (32 feet) is a reasonable distance for the accuracy of the guns. Though i will be testing mine to see what kind of range it has.
I’m not sure about all this ‘realism’ talk. What i’d prefer is a game thats fun, introduces something new and can be played as a team and is bug free. Now its not difficult to pick out which one of those points doesn’t fit bf2/bf2142 (still waiting on 2142) But BF2 can, when we have a good server full, meet all the other requirments
To be honest i think realism can seriously get in the way of the fun side. Is it ‘real’ for a soldier to hide in a position for a long period of time, well yes probably in the right circumstances. Is it fun? Well personally speaking, no, it bores the hell out of me.
In the week i played RO I was out walking through a shopping centre. I walked past a window, one which i’d never noticed before and thought ‘hey, thats a comfy looking pair of brown cord slppers’ Thankfully a firm breasted young woman then wlaked past reminding me that i’m not quite yet a pipe smoking geriatric.
BF2 is still by far the most advanced multiplayer game yet made, and while its also the most buggy, things, as they say, can only get better ๐

I wonder why in the year 2142 they can’t make a gun thats accurate …. would have thought that they would be more accurate by then wouln’t you !

There’s deffinately a glint in those eyes, its a scarey glint….but less ‘killer’ and more ‘backs to wall’
