I’m in. If you want to make it 3 months, and you want to pay 1/3rd, I’ll also pay 1/3rd and I’m sure someone else will as well. Then we can maybe look at longer term leases on light of 4 months of activity.

edit. On a side note, I prefer to play on 32 man servers, feels more hectic and I like that. However 26 isn’t too bad (altough I feel 24 is a better number as it enables 3 full squads per side as opposed to 3 full squads and a guy stuck on his own theoretically)
Def woulnd’t want to go lower than 24 though.

Yeah, good games indeed. I did notice that the map filled up pretty quickly on rush mode, but for the previous 4 conquest maps, it was just the 4 or 5 of us. Think the mix mode will do well in picking up other players. There is a severe shortage of Vietnam servers out there now too.

Check out ebay mate, I got a 5970, a £350 card 2nd had for £180. My old card fried and the company that provided the warranty went bust, but the new card is awesome, still one of the fastest on the market, and you can’t grumble at that price.
It also depends on the resolution you are playing at. In Matt’s case, I recommended that 460GTX for him as there was little gain from a more powerful card at the resolution he played at. There is no point (and I mean absolutely no point) in having 2GB of video memory and playing at 1680×1050.
Read on a post somewhere the other day that they are going back to supporting 64 player servers, making it a battlefield rather than a small skirmish.
Oh, and prone is also making a comeback (on the pc ofc)
Cool, I really like that graphic, it’s pretty unique. Most server banners are just stock art from the Bad Company site with some sort of text super imposed on top. I’m really impressed at that, should set the server apart from others and make it memorable.
The worst part is that I’m not even joking 🙁

God I hope not. It was pretty messy. I just remember lying in matts living room trying to get a little sleep about 7am hearing matt and bob screaming from matt’s bedroom. There were screams of rape, that’s too big, don’t put it there, that’s sore and all manor of other gayness.
I’m still trying to work out who was fucking who….
I have to say, no matter what the server type/rules I will still play on it. It’s not that important. I prefer 3d spotting and cross hairs to be active. It’s not a deal breaker, so I will be happy regardless.
Was a good couple of nights. I need to get out of this gung ho attitude as it’s getting me killed quite a lot. I had a terrible night last night, just couldn’t get any kills. Think I need to hang back a little more as I’m getting a little too objective orientated, perhaps wasting tickets in the process in stupid suicide runs.
