i bought most of the components of my pc about 2 years ago when i was in the states on a business trip (CPU, MOBO, RAM and 2 GFX cards – so not exactly thing that you can hide 🙂 ). i packed them up and into my suit case and nothing happened, although i know i was extremely lucky. as for a laptop, i cant imagine any way of you getting into trouble as you take it as carry on luggage onto the plane in a laptop bag and there is almost no way of anyone proving that you had recently purchased it without going into a lot of trouble. laptops are so common these days that noone raises an eyebrow to them being taken on flights. if possible take a used/worn in laptop bag with you inside your other bag when you go over.
as for the cable i couldnt be certain but im sure Doc will answer that one.sods law that the scroll wheel has now just broken so GRRRRR!
well as an update to this, i contacted Roccat and they have given me an RMA number and as soon as they receive it they will send me out a new one so its not all bad.

i got my mouse for christmas and havent had any problems but its only been 5 months so its not a huge amount of time. i was a very big fan of the microsoft intellimouse series as i found them to be very comfortable and good, however the last 2 that i have had ended up with problems with the left mouse button in that it would sometimes not register a click. it would also double click when i only clicked it once so i decided on a new mouse. i went for the roccat as its a similar shape and i havent regretted it. i just hope that i dont get any problems with it 🙂

use the whole hand round the mouse to play.
mainly just the wrist and fingers to manipulate the mouse
high sensitivity usually, but it depends on the game and the scenario – usual sensitivity is set to 2400 dpi

i will be up for some games over the weekend especially on the new versus maps.
thats a fairly standard RRP for AAA console titles. its also one of the reasons that i dislike consoles so much. i would be surprised if the PC version is more than £35.
i have probably said this before but over 50% of that RRP goes to the retailer and not to the developer/publisher, which is one of the reasons that i want digital downloads to become the normal process for buying games rather than going to the local game shop.

having spoken to wizzy it wouldnt be something we would be doing in the immediate future. killing goons and getting back delve will be done first. also we would need to sort out things such as where to base, funding, and the basic infrastructure.
however we will be setting up a corp at some point as both myself and wizzy have got to the point where the top of the game, large alliance type stuff doesnt hold the appeal it once did. so going back to small gang, no standings fun is what we are aiming at.
as for staying in bob with Alzir thats cool and you wont find a better place to learn anything than there, but you will be more than welcome to join with sal as will anyone else for that matter.
like i said, it wont be happening soon as there is too much fun to be had in delve killing goons.
this was advertised on steam a few days ago. just have to wait for the remaining episodes to be released now.
