Hey mate.
1) Never buy ANYTHING from PC world.
2) Never heard of AOC… this is a bad thing.
3) I had to look it up as they don’t advertise what kind of panel it is (also a bad thing). It is TN rather than IPS – you might want to google these terms.
4) It has built in speakers… this is a bad thing.Personally i would never buy a TN panel. I wouldn’t walk past Dell myself – they make very competitive IPS 24″ panels that are ideal for general computing.

See you on the battlefield.
I’ll be the fanboy following madmax around as he dominates all before him.
Very bad idea. He runs so fast all the time that what usually happens is he is spotted…. a few wild shots land around about him before he disappears… and then you turn up a few seconds later when they are looking that way. BOOM.
I swear the guy has a bullet reflecting shield around him.
Oh – and he never EVER tells you were he is going or why so you keep having to search for him every time you turn your back for 2 seconds.
xdc the docParticipantI thought it helped me WET – but possibly just voodoo science!
Last nights fuck ups were server side related so can’t blame EA for them. Better luck tonight?

I’ve always had sync to cloud turned off so…reckon that’s just the usual forum myth.(
Hah – you are probably right. I was suspicious. 🙂
xdc the docParticipantWeird… I crashed once the night I got it.
Not once since then! Been really lucky I guess.
One wee tip i picked up off a forum that first night – I went into origin, options and unticked ‘sync with cloud’
No idea if it helped much – but I haven’t crashed since? N=1 though so… might be coincidence.
I am running in 1080, all high settings… looks really smooth. GTX 670
xdc the docParticipantI use chrome WET – the problem with battlelog updates is there every time a new file needs uploaded…
xdc the docParticipantJust load origin and press play on your BF4 icon … it will open battlelog for you.
EA are bastards.
Game does look mint though – had a quick game last night and today 🙂

xdc the docParticipantGarry is right.
Pressing the continue button NEVER WORKS. Never did in BF3 and didn’t in BF4 last night.
Honestly! 👿 👿 👿
What you need to do is close the browser and origin. Load Origin… and let it open a new browser window.,
xdc the docParticipantF’inmg PCs!
How bout this.
Go into BIOS and set your startup sequence to CD Rom 1st.
Put in your windows cd and boot.
Select the option there to repair an installation and it should let you roll back – just follow instructions.
xdc the docParticipantOMG – despite being preordered for months amazon have fucked up their payment collection… just sorted today… not dispatched till tomorrow!!!!!!!!
Bastards.
xdc the docParticipantNice one Max.
I am actually the best battlefield player where I live as well 😀
OK…. I live on a tiny depopulated island…. maybe not quite the same.
xdc the docParticipantYeah Ben. Thats kind of what i am saying – if most of XDC buy it I will buy it… but if we all decide to give it a miss there wont be issues of people being left out when the expansions appear. If we run a server we could keep it vanilla.
Feasible?
xdc the docParticipantDefault is never right for me – just put everything to ultra and you will be fine.
Oh and I agree… WTF is that monitor doing near that machine?
xdc the docParticipantYeah m8 – you can assign the default storage drive in origin settings.
TBH – this was really only an issue for me with steam as I have loads of steam games – most of which don’t need the SSD.
Thinking about it now I would be happy having origin on my SSD as I am unlikely to have many games installed through it…. but not steam!
Cheers.
