Some idiot at my place actually cried a bit when he heard the news.
And what’s the deal with the FB people trying to get the day he died as a national holiday?! People spend too much time celebrating popstars and not enough time remember people getting shot up in Iraq. The world is messed up.
agree with you there mate, this Country and the States is obsessed with mediocrity! They seem to worship nobodies like Jade Goody or Paris Hilton almost to the point of them being deities. Seemingly a role model for young girls is someone like Katie “Jordon” Price! I mean what the fuck ?
Yesterday a true hero died. One of the remaining 3 British soliders who served in WW1: Henry Allingham was 113 and only last month was certified by Guinness World records as the Worlds oldest man. Once asked how he would like to be remembered, he said: “I don’t. I want to be forgotten. Remember the others.”
People like this should be role models, not some dim witted, over paid footballer!
