by any chance are you running Nvidia cards? the reason i ask is that i had similar problems about a month ago. i eventually solved it by finally getting into windows in safe mode, uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling the old ones.
my pc would not boot into windows outside of safe mode, and would only boot to the boot options screen about 50% of the time
the anime cartoons are quite entertaining. however what can be done with animation and a series very rarely translates across to a feature length film.

for me PC gaming will always be better than it is on consoles. i think that this is mainly because PC games (ones that havent been ported from consoles) dont tend to treat their customers like morons. you dont get the stupid “do not turn off you machine or press rest while the game is saving” well no shit sherlock!!
secondly PC gaming will never die, social gaming has put more people in front of pcs than ever before. stupid games on facebook get more people playing than most of the big AAA releases.
another major factor is that so long as we have developers like Valve, blizzard and co who produce some of, if not the best games of any platform/genre then PC gaming will not die. these guys continue to provide support for player made content, the mod community that works on the SDK of the source/half life engine has produced some of the best games. and without PC games there wouldnt be counter strike, alien swarm, portal.
i agree that pc gaming isnt the cheapest of options and there are times that i dont want to sit at my PC and play games. having a bunch of mates round for a few drinks and messing around on the consoles is great fun, but the depth of most console games i feel are less in depth than a lot of PC games. its the little things in a game which make it stand out, and the advantage of having a keyboard as a control mechanism means that you have an enormous advantage over consoles. the ability to have 1 button set to do one function in a game, the ability to alter the control config as you see fit, these little things that the PC has means that for me it will always be the platform of choice.
the pc also has so many other roles, it can utilise multiple monitor support, play a game on 1 screen, have IRC and a web browser running as well as running multiple TS clients, and having the ability to switch to these at will without having to close something down.there are console games which are excellent, and are worthy of being amongst the best games ever, zelda, uncharted, metal gear solid, gears of war, all of these games are great fun and really well made and designed games. for this reason i also have a 360 and a wii as i can play these great games that appear on these platforms.
so, is PC gaming dead? no, its just changed. will it die? i very much doubt it.
what platform are you intending to release this on Turks?
iphone? android? BB?
if you decide to go ahead with this i can probably help with testing as well as putting people in contact with some other developers if problems arise. maybe my 2 1/2 years in mobile games can come in handy 🙂

seriously, have you played it for very long. it takes a short while to get into it, basicly after the first few mission out of armadillo it improves
its a great little game. got some great tactical choices available and some really nice little touches.
from what i have been reading the difficulty between normal and hard is nothing compared to hard to insanity.
i really feel that some of the unlocks should be given earlier as dealing with infections are such a pain in the arse.
the same guys did a UT mod years ago before they were snapped up by valve and asked to use the source engine to recreate it.
i havent played the new one yet but the last one was great.

the harsh realities of eve. its a bitch but it makes you do your damn best that it doesnt happen again….that is unless you are like me and stupid. i have lost caldari cruiser 5 twice due to this 🙁

thats a bit shit, a friend had to send back his BFG card and from the point he contacted them to getting a new one delivered it was a week. i dont know if they have changed their RMA process but you seem to be having a nightmare.
